Trade fair – Solar industry to gather at InterSolution 2025 in Ghent

Despite current market challenges, exhibitor interest remains high. Around 130 companies from across the globe are expected, presenting solar panels, cells, inverters, batteries, charging solutions, assembly systems, and more. This year’s event will also feature an extensive content programme covering a range of relevant themes and ample networking opportunities. The fair is free to attend for registered trade visitors, with a late-night opening on Wednesday until 8 p.m.

Solar energy: driving sustainability forward

Solar energy continues to be a significant force in the global shift toward sustainable energy solutions. Solar panel adoption is accelerating within industries, while the residential market in Flanders and the Netherlands still holds considerable potential as two-thirds of homes remain without solar installations.

Additionally, as the electric vehicle market grows, the demand for battery storage solutions is expanding. Solar energy is increasingly integrated into smart systems and combined with other sustainable technologies, aiding the energy transition and helping achieve climate targets. InterSolution provides a vital platform for professionals to stay current with these developments.

A look at 2025’s innovations

As one of the first solar industry fairs in the new year, InterSolution offers visitors an early glimpse into 2025’s innovations in solar technology. The event will highlight new developments in panels, inverters, batteries, charging stations, assembly systems, control technologies, and monitoring software. Attendees, including electricians, installers, contractors, roofers, plumbers, and architects, will find ample networking opportunities to build valuable connections for the year ahead.

An in-depth content programme will cover various themes and applications, with further details to be released in December. Notably, this year’s event includes collaborative efforts with us at pv Europe and our German-language sister publication photovoltaik, further enriching the programme and industry insights available.

Exhibition manager Delphine Martens expressed appreciation for the ongoing support of loyal exhibitors, adding, “Many exhibits will be unveiled for the first time at InterSolution. It’s an invaluable chance to make new contacts, exchange knowledge, and create business opportunities.” (mfo)
